Latin / afrobeat / funk band from Medellin, set up during the 60s by Discos Fuentes (Colombia’s oldest commercial record label) and led by Julio Ernesto Estrada aka Fruko. The band consisted of various musicians including Fruko y sus Tesos and The Latin Brothers. A well established in-house band playing a range of styles but were best known for their afro-influenced costal Colombian funk - it’s as good as it sounds! Record has hairlines, scuffs and a few scratches, most notably across tracks A3 and A4, it’s almost unnoticeable. Sleeve is worn on edges and has creases on both sides.
